This is my favorite restaurant in Lubbock! Frank is such an incredible host and their food is so delicious! You can't go wrong with anything you order from here, but do yourself a favor and be sure to get saffron rice as your side! Love is poured into every dish here!

The hummus was great. I'll be getting that again. But the food is great. People keep talking about the owner. He's just a grouch, lower your expectations for friendliness because the food has been worth it for me. But grouchy old men don't bother me. They know our world is all backwards.

The gyro and babaganoush were really good. The place was simple and silverware is disposable, so all bare bones but good food.

Great food and great service. We tried this restaurant for the first time one afternoon, and then proceeded to eat there 3 more times in the next two weeks. The food is super fresh and authentic. Love the chicken kabob, saffron rice and pita bread. Have heard great things about the veggie platter as well.

This is my favorite restaurant in Lubbock! The Kafta kabob plate is sooo delicious! The saffron rice is the best I've ever had. The pita bread is soft and great as well as the sauces they serve with them. The service is always so warm and friendly. I highly recommend Manara Cafe.

We came in at 7:05 because online it says they're open until 8pm, but they're door said they close at 7. Thankfully, the man who was working took our order anyways! He was very nice and the food didn't take very long to be prepared. This was my husbands first time trying Mediterranean/Lebanese food and we both really enjoyed the chicken shawarma plate. He loved the sauce that came with the shawarma, but wasn't a fan of the falafel. I felt like the falafel was okay, but my only other experience having it was while in the Middle East and it tasted different. The consistency was great though, it was just seasoned different than I expected. Overall, we really enjoyed the food and we'll definitely be ordering from here again!
